About us

Our story and the partners helping bring more Pickleball to Milton every year.

OUR STORY IN MOTION

The Milton Pickleball Association Inc. (MPA) works to grow pickleball in Milton, Ontario by providing access, education, and a welcoming community for players of all ages and skill levels.

Founded in 2018 by volunteers, with Bill King as President, MPA has built more than courts—we’ve built connections. Through tournaments, social events, family days, and partnerships with schools and local organizations, MPA fosters friendships and mentorships that extend beyond the court.

Community Impact

MPA is proud to give back to Milton through initiatives such as a 5-week clinic raising approximately $3,000 for Sustainable Milton, along with quarterly food drives and donations to the Salvation Army.

Programs & Access

MPA offers programs for all skill levels, including Learn to Play sessions, clinics, training programs, and a mentor–mentee volunteer program. Expanded evening and weekend court access ensures families and working adults can participate.

Courts & Leadership

In 2023, under Bill King, MPA opened three dedicated courts at Community Sports Park. Later that year, President Rob Rafanan expanded evening and weekend access. Under the current President, Annie Lu, MPA, successfully advocated for six new courts in 2025 at Bristol District Park and Coates Neighbourhood Park.

Join the Community

Led by dedicated volunteers and leaders Bill King, Rob Rafanan, and Annie Lu, MPA is built on inclusivity, sportsmanship, and lifelong learning.

Whether you’re new to pickleball or a seasoned player, there’s a place for you at MPA. 🏓
